Multiple vitamins for women are important and should be a part of every woman's daily routine. It should be greatly emphasized that even if you eat the right kinds of foods, you should also take supplements just to be sure that your body receives the right amount of vitamins and minerals. Yes, there are vitamins supplements which only contain a single vitamin like B vitamins or those which combine vitamins A, C and E, and you can use these as well. But there are already products which contain various vitamins and even contain minerals as well. These vitamin supplements are already complete and you need not buy all kinds of other products to back it all up. These products have the RDAs or the recommended dietary allowances that have been approved by experts alike.

These pills are sort of the ultimate package as these are packed with all the necessary vitamins and minerals your body needs. With multivitamins, all you need is to pop one pill in your mouth and you're all set. Your body will be provided with its needed dose of vitamins and minerals. When you select the right kinds of vitamin supplement that's right for your body, you could feel a significant change in your energy levels and you could even feel the change in your moods. Vitamins offer the body so many wonderful benefits. It could effectively change the way you look at things in general. These chemicals and substances could greatly affect the body organs and the body in general.

In choosing the right kind of multiple vitamins for women, you should pick the ones that are safe and as much as possible those that have a natural source. This means that the product should be organic and the vitamins and minerals are not synthetically produced. When these vitamin supplements are made in labs, there is a higher chance that the product is not safe for use as it could provide the body with so many toxins that can be derived from the pill. Another great thing is that natural formulas are more easily absorbed by the body. You cannot achieve this with laboratory-synthesized vitamins and minerals.

When you are scouting for a great multivitamin supplement product, you should take into consideration the different needs of your body. It should contain minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins A, C, E and the row of B vitamins. Multivitamins are great ways to get the things you want with only just taking one pill. There are also those products which contain added herbal products and essences like green tea, and other herbs which have a synergistic relationship with the vitamins and minerals. Their effectiveness may be multiplied and the product may become potent enough for you.

Multivitamins are a great investment as well. In choosing the right kind of product for you, you should also bear in mind that there are those which are scams or are cheap alternatives of the real thing. As much as possible, try and do a check on the company that manufactured and distributed it to know if the source is reliable and legitimate. There are formulas that contain about 50 vitamins and minerals all in all. If you think about it, this is actually how much our body needs to address every single issue and concern. Multiple vitamins for women are indeed a great way to keep healthy.

Now, the best multiple vitamins for women at your age should be able to provide your body what it needs right now. It is very important to always read the labels. Every women, at some time or other, will wonder how to melt those extra inches from their abdomen, thighs, waist and other parts of their anatomy.

Now a days, as most of the women are working or engaged in some social activities, they find no time to think about a schedule of exercises at home or at the gym. Alternatively hiring a personal trainer is not economical for most of the women.

Now even insurance companies insist on higher premium for obese people who are known to have, a higher health risk. There is more pressure to lose those extra weight for social and economic reasons. There are some in the society who may discourage you, by pronouncing remarks that are not encouraging you, in your attempt to change your looks. Don't listen to them. Appreciation from any quarters will be meaningful to your attempt to change your looks. This kind of appreciation will certainly be encouraging during your regime of exercises. It will motivate you.

As a woman, there is enormous pressure to look attractive. There is absolutely no wrong in desiring to look attractive. Longing to look healthy and attractive, if one starts indulging in unhealthy starvation diets, that will be counter productive to their health. For women, who do find, that there is no time to go to a gym, their household chores will be a good alternative, to reduce those chubby looking extra fat from their body. Get intensive and pour your energy into those chores and see how those extra inches disappear.

What are those chores.

a) Cleaning fans, windows and sills

b) In garden, you can replant, carry the pots yourself, add fertilizers to plants and watering them.

c) Wash and dry the clothes and ironing them.

d) Wash your vehicles.

e) Carrying the groceries luggage from the market and up to your apartment from the car.

f) Dusting.

g) Making the beds, the way you want them.

h) Cleaning the floor and mopping it.

The above said domestic chores are normal for any household. To get the most benefit from the above chores, do them in a harder way.

1) While dusting you can reach to the often ignored nooks and corners.

2) Wipe the grime off from the fans.

3) While making the beds lift the mattress higher to spread the sheet ears underneath the mattress, instead of just tucking the border along the sides.

4) While washing the clothes, go for a semi-automatic machine, so that you will have to squeeze the water and dry the clothes in the sun.

5) While cleaning the floor, use a broom and a swab. The continuous bending and straightening will burn away any fat from your abdomen.

6) You may wax polish instead of a spray. You need to rub harder for a fine shine.

7) While ironing the clothes keep the dry clothes on the floor.Bend each time to pick up the next one.

8) Use the staircase as often as possible, even making excuses to climb the staircase. Carry one by one upstairs, instead of carrying the whole lot at a time.

If you continue to have the same habits towards your health, weight, diet, exercise, and fat, than you will continue to live with the same body that you have now, instead of living the ultimate healthy lifestyle that you deserve.

If you are not happy with your life, you need to change what you are doing. You need to stop what isn't working, and find something that will work. If you keep doing the same things you will get the same results. I would like to point out the reason that sometimes we need to change what we are doing if we are not happy with who, and what we are.

'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result".

If you find something that works, keep with it. A Football team will keep running a successful play until the other team figures out a way to stop it.

Here are a few simple examples of the Law of Cause and Effect: -If you exercise, you get stronger. -If you eat too much, you'll get fat. -If you save your money, you'll become wealthy. -If you don't maintain your car - it breaks down. (Usually at an inconvenient time) -If you spend more than you make, you could end up being a financial slave to a credit card company, lose yourself-respect, or possibly lose your house.

The person who is likely to succeed is a person who in their spare time, takes night classes, home study classes, attends workshops, searches out information to help them achieve their personal goals, and doesn't give up, no matter how difficult it may seem.

The person who usually fails is the person who comes home from work and spends countless hours watching television, is not motivated, and gives up too easily. They are missing a key ingredient which is a burning desire. This is not something you can purchase, it is something that you can create in yourself, just through positive self talk.

So today I am asking you to make a change in your life! If you are not healthy and happy, and you continue to do the same things that are not working than you are insane. So as Susan Powders would say "Stop The Insanity". Make a commitment to change and develop the burning desire mindset.

Now what are the most important vitamins for women? Lots of women are wondering about the same thing. With the abundance of vitamin supplements in the market today, there really is plenty to be concerned of. One claims to be the ultimate supplement; the other boasts to be the most successful one, and yet, when you look at the components, they are not exactly the same.

In order to choose wisely, you need to have a basic understanding of what the needs of women are. Remember that women are created differently from men. Although there is always the argument that men and women are equal, physically you know that cannot be true. Women have special needs that have to be addressed properly for them to achieve a fuller life. Women, specifically, have monthly periods to deal with, pre and post menstrual pains, menopausal issues, and breast issues. They may also be concerned about their bone health, eye health and heart health. Based on these, the most important vitamins for women would include:

1. Vitamin B complex - Vitamin B6, Vitamin B3, and Vitamin B12, especially have been found to reduce symptoms associated with hormonal imbalance, such as irritability, anxiety, and depression. When combined with Vitamin C, these B vitamins are said to reduce the size of tumors and prevent certain cancers. Vitamin B complex is also recommended to maintain nerve function and improve memory.

2. Vitamin C - Vitamin C has many benefits. As an antioxidant, it helps reduce signs and symptoms of aging, protects the body from diseases, and increases the body's ability to heal. Vitamin C also aids in the production of hormones and is necessary in the absorption of Iron. There are many sources of Vitamin C. Citrus fruits are especially loaded with Vitamin C, and you can meet your daily requirement by simply drinking a glass of fresh orange juice which constitutes 3 fresh oranges.

3. Vitamin A - Vitamin A is also an antioxidant which means to say that consuming Vitamin A-rich foods or taking supplements containing Vitamin A will keep you healthy and looking young. Vitamin A can help improves one's eyesight, too, which deteriorates with age. The body ideally requires 3,500 International Units of Vitamin A, with 20% of which constituting Beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a substance that later on converts into Vitamin A and which is responsible in giving fruits and vegetables their unique orange or yellowish color.

4. Vitamin D and Calcium - Vitamin D and calcium are needed in the maintenance of strong, healthy bones. As early as 30 years old, the body starts to lose bone mass and if this is not managed well can lead to osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a condition wherein there is significant loss of bone mass and s characterized by severe pain. Calcium prevents this from happening, but for it to be able to do its thing, it needs Vitamin D. So, when looking for a multivitamin, always make sure that it contains calcium and Vitamin D.

5. Vitamin E - Women also need Vitamin E, it being an antioxidant and having a special role in the maintenance of healthy skin and hair.

6. Iron - Menstruating women need Iron to replace blood loss. Women who are already in the menopausal stage will need less Iron than those who are still having their monthly period.

Make sure to consult your doctor as to how much of these most important vitamins for women your body requires based on your age and other factors.

Nearing the age of 30, you should already be thinking of the right vitamins for women in their 30s. You know that the decade could be very challenging, and you cannot afford not be in the best of health; you just cannot compromise else you will not enjoy your life to the fullest. After all, the 30s decade is characterized by job promotions, career changes, marriage and children, and a more active social life and you have to feel good all the time. And feeling good requires that you embark on a healthy lifestyle. This means to say taking the right vitamins for women in their 30s along, of course, with exercise and the appropriate diet.

The vitamins that used to be right for you before may still be the same vitamins that you should take in your 30s, only that you may need to make certain adjustments to the dosage, and perhaps, add a few more vitamins and minerals. Essentially, a woman needs some B-vitamins, especially B12, B6, and B3. Vitamin B12 impacts the production of red blood cells, while Vitamin B6 is necessary for B12 to be absorbed by the body. This goes to say, taking only B12 vitamins will not have a significant effect on the body without B6. Vitamin B6 also aids in breaking down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins and relieves some discomforts that come when you are about to have your menstrual period. Vitamin B3, meanwhile helps improve digestion, and its production also relies on Vitamin B6.

Women in their 30s also need sufficient Calcium and Vitamin D. Insufficient calcium in the body can lead to osteoporosis, the risk of which is greater in women who are ageing. As early as 30 years old, therefore, you should already start thinking about your bone health and increase your consumption of foods rich in calcium or fortified with calcium, or alternatively, take Calcium supplements. Yet taking calcium alone without Vitamin D is useless because Vitamin D is necessary in the absorption of calcium. The Vitamin D in the body is activated by sunlight, thus getting some sun everyday would be a great thing.

Vitamin A is important to women, too, as it facilitates the production of white blood cells and protects the major bodily systems from infections. Taking sufficient amounts of Vitamin A has also been linked to cancer prevention. However, don't take too much Vitamin A that what is recommended as this has been known to be toxic at high levels.

Folic acid helps prevent neural birth defects. As such doctors always recommend 400 mcg of this vitamin daily if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant. You can get your daily source of folic acid from whole grains, fresh orange juice, and other foods fortified with folic acid. There are also folic acid supplements or multivitamins containing folic acid that are readily available for your consumption.

The need to exercise, eat the right foods, avoid stress, and take vitamins for women in their 30s should not be taken for granted at all if you want to fully appreciate what it means to be 30!

Ok, so this article will investigate the 2 arm points that are used in 423 Meridian Qi Gong.

First though, a quick reminder of the rules...

RULE 1. If you are treating a current health problem, increase the number of times you activate the relevant pressure points, and increase the time you spend activating those points.

RULE 2. The more severe the problem, the greater the incremental changes should be.

The two remaining points that we will look at in this article are Nei Guan (pericardium 6) and He Gu (large intestine 4). These two points gain importance as one gets older. Where the other two points are found in the legs, these two points are found in the arms.

1. Nei Guan (pericardium 6)

While San Yin Jiao and Zu San Li are considered to be the two most important points for women's health in TCM, we must not forget the others. Nei Guan is used to prevent BREAST CANCER. If you have this in your family history use this point now and use it often along with Zu San Li.

Nei Guan gains in importance as we start getting older. It is of great use for the heart/lung trachea system and prevention or treatment of coronary disease and if you are or were a smoker this has just become VERY important to you. Increase your time and frequency activating this point. It is another way of how you can use the 423 Meridian Qi Gong system to suit your particular situation. It is also very good for those women who suffer from arrhythmia, irregular heartbeat and palpitations. It regulates and normalizes the heartbeat and does so quite quickly. It is also good for a speedy recovery from a strenuous workout or hard run where you have an elevated heart rate.

2. He Gu (large intestine 4)

Now we have come to He Gu - large intestine 4. This is another point that we start paying more attention to, as we get older. Having made it past all the other health obstacles we now find ourselves happily and healthily on the far side of 50. If you have illness such as STROKE or PARKINSON'S' disease in your family history you will need to step up your activation of this point. He Gu has a direct positive effect on the health of your brain and its potential problems. So to drastically lower the risk of a brain hemorrhage or STROKE give this point some extra attention. If you were or are a smoker you will definitely need this meridian point on your list of extra must do's.

You may have come to the point of looking for good vitamins for women. Vitamins and minerals are very important regardless of gender and age, but there are those that would be particularly recommended for women, and these would be calcium, Vitamin D, Iron, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Beta-carotene, and Vitamins B6 and B12.

Why calcium? Calcium is required to maintain bone mass, which decreases with age. This is nothing to be surprised about as this is a normal reaction to the ageing process, but there is enough reason for concern because decreasing bone mass means weaker and more brittle bones, and such can lead to osteoporosis. To prevent this, you need to meet the daily calcium requirement which could be anywhere between 1000 mg and 1500 by consuming fresh orange juice that's fortified with calcium, fat-free soy products, and other beverages that are calcium-fortified, or by taking calcium supplements.

Since you will be consuming sufficient amounts of calcium, you need to have Vitamin D (around 400 IU if you are over 50 years old), as well. Vitamin D is necessary for the absorption of calcium. It goes to say, consuming calcium will have very little effect on your well being if you do not have enough Vitamin D to absorb it. The body can produce Vitamin D through the aid of sunlight, but as a woman gets older, her system is no longer at its best to ensure the conversion of sunlight into Vitamin D, thus without support coming from food sources or supplements, the body will become deficient of Vitamin D.

For women who have not yet gone beyond the childbearing years, iron would be especially recommended. Women who are still menstruating need Iron to compensate the blood that is lost during each monthly period in order to prevent anemia. Iron is richly found in meat, eggs, beans, tofu, and poultry. It is always recommended to take iron along with Vitamin C. Vitamin C should also be included in the list of good vitamins for women, it being necessary in the absorption of Iron. Yet even if you are at the age when iron is not that significant anymore (like maybe you are beyond the stage of menopause), Vitamin C, being an antioxidant, would still prove to be of great value.

Folic acid is especially recommended to women who are pregnant and even those who are trying to get pregnant. A number of birth defects have been linked to low levels of folic acid, the reason why folic acid is always emphasized to pregnant women. There is a good amount of folic acid in green vegetables, orange juice, beans, and fortified breads. Just as important to a woman's health is beta-carotene. An antioxidant and anti-cancer substance, Beta-carotene gives more protection to women while at the same time delaying the onset of ageing.

Lastly, the B-vitamins. Vitamins B6 and B12, are necessary to the formation and development of red blood cells. They can be found in hard-boiled eggs, chicken breast, yogurt and milk (non-fat).

To recap, the list of good vitamins for women includes calcium, Vitamin D, Iron, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Beta-carotene, and Vitamins B6 and B12.

Some women go through issues and healthcare related problems that only other women would understand. And with healthcare being as expensive as it is today, it would help if you had someone there to talk to whenever you had a question that wouldn't cost you money to see them constantly.

That's why many women are joining healthcare groups for women. These support groups are where women with similar issues can bond and talk to each other; and essentially help each other through whatever they're going through. No matter what kind of problem you're having, there's a healthcare group for women out there that's waiting for you to join.

If you have a problem that you're going through such as cervical cancer, or some other women related problem that is terminal, it would help immensely to seek out a healthcare group for women where you can relate with other women going through similar issues.

There's always someone out there who is going through the same thing you are, even if it's a terminal illness, and there's undoubtedly a healthcare group for women just waiting for new members.

If you are looking for a group, contact a national women's health organization and see if they have any information regarding a healthcare group for women with members who are going through the same thing as you are. If you don't have one in your area, you may want to start one. Then, you can tell the national women's health organization about your support group in case anyone like you is looking for one to join.

Online forums are also great ways to find healthcare groups for women. Just do a search for whatever problem you're going through and there's likely a forum with other women just like you, ready to answer questions and to help you through what you're going through. Likewise, it would help to get on that forum yourself and answer any questions that you may know the answers to.

Somewhere out there may be a woman just looking for answers with nowhere else to turn. You could help start a healthcare group for women to help other women who think they're all alone in the world; just like you were before you found a group of your own.

Helping someone will make you feel better and having someone there for you will help you feel just as good.

The majority of women unfortunately do not make their health as important an issue as it should be. Taking care of yourself means being aware of your body and keeping yourself in the best health, and you can only do this when you understand your body and the different conditions that can plague it.

Women's health is still somewhat of a hidden issue, but we as a society are seeming to become more and more okay and accepting of it.

Women's health services are imperative to have available. After all, there are hundreds of different serious health conditions that a woman can develop, and the biggest problem is that the majority of these conditions can be underlying, meaning that they show no symptoms and the woman may not even realize that anything is wrong.

Did you find this article helpful? Below I have a list of products for women relate to different health issues you may have. They are great products and I found most of them by talking to women on online forums like I discussed in the article above. I hope they help you as much as they did me.

This one is my favorite. It REALLY works. Make sure to pass it on, your friends will love you.

I would like to share with you the importance of hydration that will help you insure maximum health and wellness. You must drink eight to ten glasses of water a day. I know you have heard this time and time again. I understand completely! I know how difficult it is to drink all that water in one day. Then start all over again the next morning. I used to think the same way until I found ways to change it up and get it down. Now I look forward to drinking water. Believe it or not!

Last year I jetted off to France with my phrase book in hand to watch the largest sporting event in the world Le Tour De France. The cyclists that compete in the tour are some of the greatest athletes in the world. But what I notice about each cyclist, their family and friends was very enlightening. Each and every one of them drank water almost twenty four hours a day.

I am an athlete myself and I understand the importance of water while playing a sport, but what was amazing is they always had water in their hand and were constantly drinking it. When they were sitting at a café, during dinner, and just socializing with the fans, they were always drinking and hydrating themselves. It hit home with me. These men that are the best conditioned and in the best health drank water. At that moment, I purchased a bottle of water and have not stopped drinking.

The recommendation of eight to ten eight ounce glasses of water will help ensure that you body has adequate water to keep it working properly. If you would drink at the very least eight glasses filled with eight ounces of water each day you will feel better. Your skin will be softer, suppler, your joints will feel better, be lubricated, and your overall health and wellness will improve. Drinking water helps to move the environmental toxins out of your body. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat.

Now, the next time you have difficultly drinking your 8 glasses of water I want you to think of ways to change it.

-Add a twist of Lemon.

-Add a splash of cranberry juice.

-Add a little (not the whole packet) of Crystal Light

-Think of low calorie juice to add to change the flavor.

Women go through many tremendous hormonal changes throughout their natural lifetimes. Such hormonal changes can have a considerable effect on the body and the mind. In order to keep hormones balanced and to maintain optimal health, many women are turning to all natural treatments in order to manage bodily hormonal fluctuations. Let's examine some of the natural remedies available, which work wonders when it comes to women's hormonal issues.

Peruvian Maca is an all natural remedy that has a number of startling benefits. Peruvian Maca looks strikingly like a radish root and is revered for its ability to assist women who are dealing with hormonal issues related to the onset of menopause. Working as a natural balancer of hormones, Peruvian Maca also offers increased stamina, and enhances one's mental clarity. Some herbalists even cite Peruvian Maca as an all natural aphrodisiac. What's more, Peruvian Maca is a superlative choice for dealing with hormonal issues with the onset of Premenstrual Syndrome as well.

Some individuals turn to Wild Yams to assist with hormonal imbalances too. Wild Yams, otherwise referred to as Colic Root, Mexican Yam, Chinese Yam, Shan Yao, or Rheumatism Root, are believed to be quite beneficial to one's nervous system functioning, issues with respiratory functioning, menstrual cramping relief, and more. Some cosmetic creams even contain this herb, which is safely applied to the skin. For those looking to derive the natural treatment benefits of the Wild Yam, consumers can consume Yam capsules as well as liquid supplements.

Bee Pollen is yet another natural treatment for hormonal imbalances. Many experts have come to appreciate the fine healing value identified in all natural bee pollen. Bee pollen is a source of nourishment that is chockfull of vitamins and nutrients. In addition to assisting in hormonal rebalancing, bee pollen offers positive benefits for one's heart, is beneficial for blood circulation processes, assists in better digestion, minimizes anxiety and stress, and offers the consumer more endurance and stamina. What's more, bee pollen is a fabulous all natural source of protein too. If seeking an all purpose natural remedy, bee pollen is considered just that; the food is cited with the ability to slow the effects of aging, to augment immunological functioning, to augment memory functioning, to increase estrogen levels, and to increase mental clarity too.

Dong Quai is a natural herb which can be consumed in order to achieve hormonal balancing as well. Dong Quai aids in returning estrogen as well as progesterone levels to normal. This Chinese herb has been cited for assisting the human body with maintaining normal hormonal balances throughout the natural menstrual cycle, for alleviating depression which often accompanies hormonal fluctuations, and more. The secret ingredient found in Dong Quai, which offers so many healing properties, is identified as Angelica Sinesis, which helps the body maintain an overall balance during the menstrual cycle. This herb can be taken with ease via capsule form and the recommended dosage is roughly one to two capsules each day.

Perimenopause starts several years before menopause due to reduce secretion of female sex hormone from the reproductive organ. The second stage is actual menopause, in which reproductive organ completely stopped the release of female gamete and secretion of female hormone. It is diagnosed when there is no menses for about 12 months. And the last stage is post menopause that are the years after menopause in which signs of menopause go away but there is greatest risk of health problems.

SURGICAL MENOPAUSE:

In this there is surgical removal of reproductive organs and the women practice the signs and symptoms of menopause.

CANCER CHEMOTHERAPY and RADITION THERAPY:

When the women taking treatment of cancer that is located near the reproductive organs may also result in the menopause. In this, symptoms of menopause begins during treatment or following treatment.

SYMPTOMS OF MENOPAUSE:

Most of the symptoms of menopause are due to he deficiency of female sex hormones, these symptoms includes hot flashes, increase pulse rate, depression, anxiety, mood swing, sleep disturbances, bone breaking, joint and back pain, skin wrinkles and thinning.

OSTEOPOROSIS:

Osteoporosis is the bone disorder in which there is weakening of bones so high risk of breaking. These broken bones are called as fractures and most commonly occur in hips, wrist and backbone. (6) It normally appears after the menopause in which there is severely reduction in the female sex hormone that is involved in the bone formation.

RISK FACTORS:

There is no single cause for osteoporosis but risk factors can play an important role in the breaking of bones. These include;

AGING: risk of fracture increasing with age.

FAMILY HISTORY OF BONE PROBLEMS: especially if mother had hip fracture.

LOW CALCIUM INTAKE: since calcium plays an important role in bone formation deficiency of calcium can be overcome by taking supplements.

EXCESSIVE INTAKE OF ALCOHOL and CAFFEINE: that is 2 drinks per day and more than 4 cups of coffee, tea and soft drink.

Various health related problems in human beings affect differently to men and women. It has been seen that women generally neglect their own health taking care of their husbands and kids. Some of the health concerns are solely feminine and some are more common in women than men. The ones more common in women are obesity, osteoarthritis, depression etc. and the ones unique to women are menopause, pregnancy, menstrual disorders etc.

A few things to be kept in mind by women for good health:

- Always plan your pregnancies. See your doctor regularly when you are pregnant. Pre-natal care i.e. before planning a pregnancy has proved that it increases the chances of delivering a healthy baby and decreases all the pregnancy related complications.

- Go for regular mammograms.

- Get regular screenings and checkups done by doctor. It is always beneficial to detect any health problem in its initial stage especially as breast cancer, ovarian or uterine cancer.

- Do not leave unchecked if you are facing any of the health problems as continuous backaches, change in color of urine and stool, lumps on body, persistent cough, pains and headaches, chest pains, change in colors of warts and moles etc. Get yourself checked up by a doctor if you face any of these.

- Sudden gain or loss in weight should also not go ignored as it may be a symptom of some serious health problem. Obesity also increases the chances of heart diseases, diabetes, sleep apnea, cancers and osteoarthritis which you should be aware of.

Health care is very essential for women as it would affect the entire spectrum of their lives. Regular checkups are very necessary as some heath problems as cardiac disease, heart attacks etc. may go unnoticed as their symptoms in most of the women are not clear. They should opt for all the possible health care steps for early detections of various health diseases and to prevent or treat them fully. A few simple and known steps are acquiring healthy eating habits having balanced diet, low in saturated fats; exercising and regular medical checkups.

The common health problems faced by women if they smoke are chances to develop lung cancer that was thought more likely in men. Women should totally avoid cigarette and caffeine to remain healthy saving themselves from harmful results. It has been researched that caffeine present in coffee, tea, chocolates etc. may also increase the risk of benign breast diseases or cancers which most of the women are prone to. And it has been seen that the women suffering from non-cancerous breast diseases are relieved from their suffering after removing caffeine from their diet.

Women should be well aware of various risk factors to avoid any health problems. Although there are a few genetic ones which can't be avoided at all but many others are in your control. Consult your doctor on various issues to reduce risk factors. Ask that how frequent you should make him visits and what all are the screenings, vaccines and tests which you may need. This way you can take good care of your health and can fully be incharge of your health issues.

In order to stay healthy and keep away from certain diseases and illnesses, you should do what you can to know what the different recommended daily vitamins for women are. Vitamins are important for every person, to men, women and the children. Why are vitamins emphasized to be important to a person's life? What is the purpose for taking vitamin supplements on a daily basis? What vitamins should be taken by women to keep their health maintained and promoted and to keep diseases away?

Vitamins are indeed important to the body. These micronutrients could be derived from the food you eat and the fluids you drink. Usually, when people hear the word vitamins, they think about supplemental vitamins and minerals, those medications that you take. However, there are also natural sources of vitamins and minerals. It is not all the time that you should take pills or liquid vitamins to give you the daily dose of vitamins that your body needs. Clinical studies show that you can get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs just by eating the right kinds of food.

Women, like men, also need their daily dose of vitamins. The good thing is, there are already vitamins that are especially formulated for women. These vitamins were created and manufactured to address the needs of women in their different stages of life. Women undergo so many amazing hallmarks in their lives which are considered to put stress on the body. Taking vitamins could help prevent the occurrence of certain illnesses and it could also help reduce the effects of stress on the body and the vital organs. The recommended daily vitamins for women include those essential vitamins and minerals that will address the issues of women regarding their health.

One of the most important minerals that a woman's body needs is calcium. Calcium is of course known to help in the formation of strong bones. When women age and reach the level where they have menopause, they are becoming prone to osteoporosis. This condition will definitely put women at risk for breaking their bones and getting a fracture. Even just the mildest and the smallest trip could result to a fracture or worse, to broken bones. To make calcium work, the body needs a dose of vitamin D as well. Together with calcium and vitamin D is magnesium. This is also a mineral that helps keep the bones strong, thus preventing it from becoming brittle.

Aside from this, the woman also needs a dose of vitamin C. This is a vitamin that is amazing at boosting the body's immune system, plus, it is a known potent antioxidant. This vitamin also helps keeps the women's skin changes issues at bay. Sagging and dry skin will be a thing of the past as vitamin C together with vitamins A and E will help keep your skin clear and maintain the tone. Antioxidants in the body will delay the ageing process occurring in the body. It will not only help keep you looking young through the years, but it will also keep off the diseases. But these are not the only vitamins a woman needs. There are still other vitamins that are needed to address every single health issue of women. Yet knowing the recommended daily vitamins for women will be a good step to becoming healthier.

Many are going ballistic over One A Day Vitamins for women, claiming that these vitamins are the ultimate pills for women in order for them to be at the peak of their health. Accordingly, a daily dose of One A Day vitamins helps to resolve issues that are commonly encountered by women, such as osteoporosis, hormonal changes, breast issues, and skin care.

Women advancing in age are prone to osteoporosis because as one ages, the bones become more brittle. This is actually not surprising but it is something that should not be taken for granted. Women may also experience hormonal changes as they near menopause, and that can be as early as 35 years old. The need to take care of the breasts is always encouraged if you are a woman because breast cysts and masses are more common in women and which may develop at any time. Then of course, there's always the issue on beauty and skin care. Women generally hate the idea of growing old with wrinkles and crow's feet and with skin, dry and sagging. That is why you would see a lot of them flocking to hair spas and beauty salons to get beauty treatments of some sort. All these issues are said to be resolved by simply taking One A Day Vitamins for women.

A closer look at the pill suggests that all these claims about One A Day do stand on good ground. A One A Day vitamin consists of 1,000 International Units of Vitamin D, which is a lot higher than what you would find in other multivitamins. Vitamin D, specifically Vitamin D3, has been shown to be beneficial to the health of the breast. The pill also contains more calcium, and calcium matters a lot when it comes to bone health. There, too, are the B Vitamins, Vitamin B6 and B12, which helps regulate hormonal activities and preserves nerve function, respectively. Folic acid is also a major component of One A Day. Folic acid is of greater value to pregnant women as it prevents neural defects in babies, but it since it also functions to prevent anemia, Folic acid should be ideally taken by women, pregnant or not.

One A Day vitamins designed for women have sufficient amounts of Vitamin E, which along with Vitamin A, promotes healthy skin. There is also Vitamin C in every One A Day pill. Vitamin C, as you know, improves one's defenses against diseases and helps one recover faster. The need for Vitamin C increases as you progress in years, and it's good to know that One A Day is able to take care of your Vitamin C needs very well. Other vitamins and minerals that make up One A Day are magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, selenium, and chromium. All these work with the others to supply a woman with all the essential nutrients to maintain a healthy body.

current weight and body fat readings to the previous readings.

Why You Should Monitor Body Water and Fat Percentage
If you're like most people, you're not drinking enough water. If you wait until you feel thirsty, your body is already suffering from the effects of mild dehydration. You continually lose water during the day through sweat, urine and breathing. The amount varies due to several reasons, including your physical activity level, illness, medications, poor nutrition, or even climatic conditions. Monitoring your body water percentage allows you to quickly compensate if your levels are low, allowing your body to function more efficiently. Having the right amount of water in your body will not only make you feel healthier, but you'll also reduce your risk of developing serious health problems in the longer term.

High body fat levels can reduce your endurance and have been linked to heart disease cancer and diabetes. Tanita's body composition analyzers monitor your body fat and body water levels with Bioelectric Impedance Analysis, or BIA, the same advanced technology used by doctors. Foot pads send a low-level electrical signal. Then BIA measures the resistance to this signal as it travels through the body.

The Tanita BF679W is calibrated for standard adults and children and stores data for 2 people and measures body fat in increments of 0.5 percentage points. This scale also features a guest mode, allowing you to use the unit without losing information already assigned to the personal keys. The scale's large, easy-to-read 2.25-inch, 2-line LCD shows weight and body fat simultaneously, and instantly compares these readings to healthy ranges based on the user's age and gender. Simply supply your gender, age, height and weight into the memory, step on the scale, and the monitor does the rest. The results are analyzed according to each user's information, and the result is the one of the most comprehensive at-home readings you can get.

Operating on four AA batteries (included), the Tanita BF679W is intended for use by persons up to 300 pounds and is backed by Tanita's three-year warranty.

Following is a list of question that, I believe, can lead to an in-depth discussion on this most vital issue. I hope you can take advantage of this opportunity to avail yourself of these questions in any appropriate situation.

QUESTIONNAIRE ON WOMEN'S ROLE IN CHURCH AND SOCIETY

1- Should women be given equal opportunity along with men in employment in all cases? What about the military? What about sports? If not, explain.

2- Should women receive equal pay for equal work alongside men?

3- Do you feel one should lower the quality standards in a certain situation solely to prevent gender

discrimination?

4- Who has the major responsibility for nurturing a child in a marriage; Or financially supporting the home: The man or the woman? Why?

A) What is the prime purpose of a marriage?

B) What are the economic factors that could affect your conception of what a marriage arrangement should be, and what could be done to change this situation if it needs changing?

C) What are the career interest factors that could affect your conception of what a marriage arrangement should be, and what could be done to change this situation if it needs changing?

5- Are the woman's major responsibilities in life to have children and take care of the home?

6- What are the physical and emotional differences between men and women that might affect their role in life?

7- What might be the role of a woman in Church? What about ordination to any of the following offices: Deacon, Elder, Pastor, Priest or Bishop?

8- If man were to rule over woman at the beginning of time because woman came from man according to Genesis 2:21-23, why did God say that man should rule over woman after the Fall (Gen 3:16)?

A) Could you say that man and woman became equal or helpmates once again after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Gal 3:28)?

9- Could one of the reasons why Jesus only chose men as Apostles be that even though the Gospels are in the New Testament, they are really part of the Old Testament whereby women were still thought to be submissive to men as a result of the Fall?

10- Doesn't being the head and being submissive in and of themselves create an inequality?

11- In reading Paul's letters, should you consider that everything that Paul wrote as being a universal truth, or should you distinguish within his writings what's universal and what's locally situational?

12- If women are treated more as unique individuals, instead of as sex objects, would this lessen the need for pornographic scenarios some men have?

13- Do you believe that as more and more churches use ordained women clergy, women clergy would be more acceptable within Christian religious circles?

14- As more churches accept women clergy, do you feel Christianity offers women more equality than any other major world religion?

15- Do you feel a woman pastor could more effectively counsel a women counselee than a male pastor could? Why, or why not?

16- Do you feel that if more and more Christians experience the pastoral leadership qualities that some women possess, that women clergy ordination would become less and less of a divisive issue within the Christian Church?

17- Do you feel one should never be judged solely by gender as to what one can or can not do in life? I do, but what do you think?

On Internet, I asked question # 1, and received 9 responses, which were really mixed in opinions, but I do feel that there should be an equal opportunity for women to be employed in all professions without lowering the entry standards in such professions, and even if some professions don't seem to lend themselves to femine abilities. They should still at least have the opportunity to prove otherwise. And women should also receive equal pay for equal work as well. But if they just want to be housewives instead, that's OK too. What do you think about this whole area of concern?

A 2nd Internet Question: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DIVORCES AND SEPARATIONS IN THE WORLD TODAY?

1) Corbin says: I believe this is because that most people really are not prepared for marriage to begin with.

Two suggestions I would make concerning this are 1) that there should be a 3 to 6 month counseling period for a couple before they get married, and 2) marriage counseling should be a continuous process from the crib to adulthood with an emphasis on the responsibility

of having children.

2) Marilyn says: Corbin, I absolutely agree with you. I think a three to six month period of Biblical counseling

would be ideal. However, the reality is there will always be single moms and I would like to see the church help these women so they don't have to work. (and I think that's a Biblical position too).

3) John says: Good topic. These suggestions probably will help, but unfortunately in reality both parties

to a marriage don't put enough effort in to save their marriages, and they think divorce is an easy way out. And it's especially bad for the kids in these marriages.

4) Jim says: Corbin, I definately agree with you that there should be more preparation before marriage.

I believe that the best time to educate children about marriage and relationships is in high school. I don't think that marriage and child rearing education need to go hand in hand. Many couples choose not to have children. I think what is important is that young people need to be taught about expectations - what's realistic and what's not. Young people should be taught more about how to really get to know someone, and that takes time...and definitely not to rush into anything.

5) Jill says: Pre-nup counseling and teaching proper expectations are great ideas, but I'm not sure it

would work in the real world when you're actually involved in a real commitment. It's like trench warfare. You really don't know how you're going to react until you're fired upon.

6) Joan says: I believe society encourages divorce, and that we have to pass stricter laws governing divorce,

especially when children are involved. It's really not necessarily greener on the other side of the fence.

7) Jay says: I think one of the problems young people have in contemplating marriage is that they have to

get on the other side of the wall of their infatuation for each other, so they can really get to know each other before they make a lasting commitment.

8) Cliff says: A pastor I know has always required counseling sessions for couples who wanted to be married by him. Otherwise he wouldn't marry them.

9) Jane says: My husband and I only knew each other for 3 months when we got married and I was pregnant

at the time. But over time we found out what true love was all about. Despite this, I feel counseling before or after a marriage is always a good thing.

10) Mary says. Actually, example is the supreme teacher in building relationships.

11) Arthur says: Respect and caring for another more than ourselves is the very essence of love.

12) Sarah says. I was married twice. The first for 16 years in a miserable marriage. I tried to make it a success, but couldn't. The second turned out to be a dream of a marriage for 20 years. So sometimes divorce is necessary.

13) Mathew says: In Australia there are what is known as "Marriage Enrichment Weekends" which help to strengthen marriages that are already in existence.

14) Steve says: First, there has to be a common, mutual bond before getting romantically involved.

Then there is agape love, one that loves without condition. Jesus, during His ministry, was about that. My wife and I are Christians, serving the Lord with our marriage and our lives. We have been through many trials and frustrations within the 5 years we've been

married. But it is Christ that has strengthened us. Preparation for marriage is more than the wedding. It takes a commitment on both parties to seek out for the others well-being, but first and foremost to seek after what the Lord desires for both their lives.

15) Shirley says: I think the big problem is that so many kids grow up in families with bad role models

for parents. Bad marriages breed children who grow up and enter bad marriages. Young people jump into marriage thinking it is going to be the answer to all their problems and they will live happily ever after without realizing the difficulties involved. Couples look at their parents and think they will not make the same mistakes but then they marry and do the exact same things. Even after some counseling, more often than not, the young couple are so in love and planning the wedding that they are not planning for the marriage. Young people should realize that marriage is a vocation. It is a lifetime commitment and jumping

ship when the going gets tough should not be an option. I am a firm believer that if two people once loved each other, even if they think it has died, it can be revived, with work and perseverence.

16) Corbin says: To help one prepare for marriage and a lasting relationship, I have a list of questions one

should really ask oneself about one's partner. See below. The most difficult problem in relationships is actually one's attitude toward money. Marriage really should be based on a cold calculated decision, NOT on some madly pasionate romantic desire. In other words, you should marry your best friend, NOT your best lover. Many times I think there's more effort exerted in planning the wedding rather than the marriage.

A 3rd Internet Question: WHAT IS THE ROLE WOMEN SHOULD PLAY IN LIFE?

Corbin says: Although a number of respondees mentioned that the role of men and women can be different depending upon the circumstance, which I agree with, I believe women should be free to pursue any activity that they so desire, and feel qualified to undertake. In looking at Scripture, it states paraphrasing "In Christ, there is neither male nor female" (Gal 3:28), so that much of what it says about women in Scripture could be a situational local truth according to Paul, and not a Universal Truth. Many on these websites also interpret Scripture literally in that every word that's in the Bible comes from the mouth of God. I disagree in that the Bible, I believe, could be thought of as a baby carriage carrying the baby, and we have to distinguish between Universal Truths (the perfect baby) and the situational local truths (the baby carriage, which can have some errors on it) concerning the role that women might play. And why Jesus only chose men as Apostles instead of women could be that theGospels were written as really part of the Old Testament whereby women became free again after the resurrection. What do you think?

Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss [VHS]Title notwithstanding, Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss isn't likely to promote weight loss any more than lots of other videos will. But that's not a knock--it merely reflects the fact that anyone who practices yoga regularly and conscientiously can both shave off some extra pounds and significantly reshape his or her body. With four different instructors simultaneously demonstrating a single program, each providing different modifications of the same poses, Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss delivers a thorough, well-organized practice that can be undertaken by users at all levels of experience, fitness, and flexibility. After a gradual warm-up sequence, Suzanne Deason and her fellow instructors lead you through a series of standing asanas, back and forward bends, twists, and so on, with the proper technique and function of each pose explained clearly and concisely. The result is a workout that's challenging but not overwhelming and that should stand up to plenty of repeated use. All in all, another good offering from Living Arts. --Kelly Welldon

If we took a proper well balanced diet which contained all the nutrition then we would never be deficient of any vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. We would get them from our food resources and would never have to complain.

Unfortunately diets are imperfect and women are not as healthy as they could be. That's the reason why doctors recommend multivitamin supplements as fundamental to overall health and wellness. If everything was perfect we would all eat a balanced diet consisting of at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, whole grains, low-fat dairy and high quality, lean meat, poultry, or fish.

Ideally we should eat fresh from the farm, preferably organic foods that are rich in nutrients, coming from soil not contaminated by harmful pesticides and toxins. Fresh foods should not be further depleted by preservatives and long-transit times.

The question is how women should choose the right kinds of health products for optimum wellness from the wide variety of vitamin products and supplements available today.

Of course we all know that vitamins, minerals, herbals and other health supplements are not a substitute for any medication and the doctor's guidance. They can still be very helpful in certain health issues.

One of the simplest things you can do today is taking top quality supplements each day. But you should be careful not to overdo it for the simple reason that there are possible risks associated with taking higher than recommended doses of some vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements. The best thing is read and follow label directions.

Women should go for a multivitamin that is specially formulated to support their specific nutritional needs. Choose a multivitamin that is highly absorbent nutritional supplement specially formulated to offer a potent and effective alternative to traditional mass manufactured multivitamins.

Look for these things in a Multivitamin:

High Nutritional Value-Look for a multivitamin with good nutrition content because that will good health. There are formulated multivitamins that fill our nutritional gaps using the most nutritionally dense and beneficial foods.

Ultra Potent-The multivitamin should use only high quality naturally occurring vitamins and minerals that are absorbed easily by the body. For example Super Green Foods like Spirulina, Chlorella and Green Barley.

Easy Absorption-They should be easily absorbed by the body. For instance natural enzymes like Bromelain and Papain aid absorption.

Natural-Ensure the multivitamins contain nothing else but only the highest quality natural ingredients. No unnecessary additives, fillers, colors, or dyes. It should also be free of food allergens like wheat, dairy, corn, soy etc.

Safe-Last but not the least, the products should be safe.

While selecting vitamins check for a balanced daily formula, especially one that is blended so that all the ingredients work together in harmony. It would also be beneficial to include a a protein shake and a fish oil capsule in your daily diet.

However if you are you expecting a baby or lactating, use caution when taking any kind of womens health supplements. It is always better to consult your physician first. He might probably prescribe a prenatal vitamin that is specially formulated for pregnancy.

Similarly if you are going through any medication it is good to talk to your doctor before you try any women's health supplements. Your doctor may not want you taking both at once. So go ahead and choose good multivitamins to maintain your body´s overall health.

DECLINING NUTRITIONAL VALUE IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES MAY BE A CONCERN.

For years the debate has raged on about the benefits and drawbacks of modern farming techniques. Industrial agriculture or "hyper-farming" has resulted in giant strides in crop yield, but many claim nutrient content - and thus their total nutritional value to humans - has been suffering.

The average yield in terms of bushels per acre for major crops in the US has sky rocketed since the 1950's. Corn is up 342%! Wheat is up 290% while both Soy beans and Alfalfa are up about 170%. Similar sorts of yield gains have occurred in Europe, Australia, Japan and other regions of the world as well.

Data presented by researchers from the Department of Soil Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Madison shows that while these great advances in crop yield have occurred in the last 50 years nutrient content has been under siege and declining. Similarly, a review of data published by the USDA's ARC Nutrient Data Laboratory shows "a sharp decline in the minerals, vitamins and other nutrients in foods since the last comprehensive survey", about 20 years ago.

NEW EVIDENCE ON NUTRIENT DEPLETION

Recent data published by Dr. David Thomas, a primary healthcare practitioner and independent researcher, looked at the difference between UK governments published tables for nutrient content published in 1940 and again in 2002. The comparison was eye-opening. It showed that the iron content of 15 different varieties of meat had decreased 47%. Dairy products had shown similar falls; a 60% drop in iron and up to a 90% drop in copper.

GREATER AVAILABILITY VERSUS LESS VALUE.

It is true that in the modern world of the industrial nations, fruits and vegetables availability is at an all time high. If we want it, it's there. On the other hand despite this increased availability, fruit and vegetable consumption has not increased in the population. Indeed in many population sub-groups it has declined. When this knowledge is coupled to the reported declines in nutrient levels in foods, it has many healthcare providers, scientists, researchers and government officials looking for answers as to how we can hope to sustain the nutritional value and balance of our foods while needing to produce more and more from the same soils to feed an ever-growing population. So far the path ahead is uncertain at best.

NEW STUDIES SHOW PROTECTION CONNECTION BETWEEN TEA, FRUIT AND VEGETABLE CONSUMPTION AND WOMEN'S HEALTH.

Tea and Ovarian Cancer Risk: researchers at the karolinska Institute Division of Nutritional Epidemiology in Stockholm, Sweden conducted a 15 year follow-up study of more than 61,000 women aged 40 to 76. Their evidence, published in the archives of Internal Medicine (2005; 165 (22): 2683-2686) showed that those women who consumed tea on a regular basis had a dramatically lower risk for ovarian cancer. Tea drinkers who averaged less than one cup per day equaled an 18% risk reduction. One or more cups per day provided a 24% risk reduction and 2 or more cups a day showed a 46% risk reduction. As you might expect, these findings prompted the researchers to conclude "Results suggest that tea consumption is associated with a reduced risk of ovarian cancer."

Soy and Women Health: Publishing their work in the January 15, 2006 issue of Cancer Research, a team of researchers from West Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA concluded that soy phytoestrogens may protect against breast cancer risk in post menopausal women. According to researchers from John Hopkins University presenting data at the November 15, 2005 meeting of the American Heart Association, consuming soy protein (20 grams per day for 6 weeks) reduced two strong indicators for coronary heart disease in postmenopausal African American women. The result show that LDL-cholesterol and another cholesterol marker known as LDL-P (P=particle number) were decreased in women taking soy protein, regardless of age or race.
